Lauren Winfield-Hill: SunRisers shining brightly as they aim for the title

Lauren Winfield-Hill reflects on SunRisers Leeds’ run to the Hundred final, the performances of England spin prospect Hannah Baker, and vying for the crown of best team song.

It was a massive effort from everyone at SunRisers to get through to the Eliminator after we had some close losses at the start of the comp – we’ve had to treat every game like a semi-final.
And then to make Sunday’s final is just brilliant.
I actually think we’ve played really well throughout the competition, it’s not like we were trounced early on, we just didn’t manage to sneak over the line.
Everything moves on quickly though, and now it’s onto Lord’s for the big time.
