The nature of the schedule now means that two days after the end of the English domestic summer, I was on a plane to Australia for the start of the WNCL.

This year at Queensland we’ve only got one round before the Spring Bash and the WBBL start, and in Australia if you don’t play in either of those, you don’t actually play that many games in the season.
I see it almost like a pre-season with a few games here and there, and being part of another group where you can help to develop the environment.
