County Championship: Storm clouds gather over domestic schedule

It has been a sun-filled, run-filled start to the season with the feel-good factor firmly present for county cricket but there is plenty to worry about coming down the line.
The Professional Cricketers’ Association visited all 18 professional men’s counties ahead of the 2025 campaign, and heard the players reiterate the need to improve the domestic schedule, citing growing concerns over the impact of workloads on their physical and mental health.
