Richard Clarke reveals his connection with the Utilita Bowl, home of Hampshire Cricket, a venue at the centre of an ownership revolution which will redefine county membership.

I can trust you, can’t I?
Well, just ‘entre nous’ and to cut a long story short, a few Junes ago, I kinda… err… broke into Hampshire’s ground.
To explain, I have a special affiliation with what is now Utilita Bowl. Back in the day, one of my last cricket jobs on the Aldershot News was to visit the proposed site of what was to become the Rose Bowl.
