Monty Panesar made his debut for village club Pelsall last weekend.

Having been approached by club captain Dan Pennell via Instagram direct message, Panesar has agreed to turn out for the Walsall-based club this summer.
Panesar made his debut in the South Staffordshire County League fixture against Wombourne, ending up on the losing side by 48 runs.
The ex-England man returned figures of 2-20 from 10 overs and also affected a run out at the non-striker’s end in Wombourne’s total of 228.
Motivation
In reply, Pelsall could only muster 180 all out, Panesar out stumped for 12 batting at No.7.
