The star-studded nature of The Hundred is its biggest selling point, but the crowding out of some of the best English domestic talent by big-name overseas players does not sit well with me.
To be clear, the overseas players in The Hundred this year have been awesome.
They drive standards up, and the quality on the field this year in the women’s comp is higher than it’s ever been.
They also make the product better, because people come to stadiums wanting to see Hayley Matthews or Phoebe Litchfield wallop sixes.
