Darren Stevens: Ian Holland heroics lead Leicester revival as half-time approaches

At the start of the season I picked out one team from each division who I thought would stand out this year and, as we hit the halfway stage of the Championship season (though we’re still in May!), both are living up to my expectations.
Leicestershire are the runaway leaders in Division Two, with four wins and two draws in their first six fixtures.
It’s no surprise that head coach Alfonso Thomas, a former bowler himself, has loaded the Leicester XI with bowling options.
