Mark Butcher: Virat Kohli leaves the format he loved with lasting legacy

This week marked the retirement of the most influential Test cricketer of the 21st century, and in my view the most influential Indian cricketer of all-time.
It’s no exaggeration to say that Virat Kohli’s drive and passion resurrected Test cricket in India, and by extension gave it a shot in the arm elsewhere in the world at a time when interest in the longer format appeared to be waning.
