Derek Pringle: Harry Brook passes first test but harder examinations beckon

It may be too early to consider these things but if a captain’s legacy stands or falls on games won then Harry Brook’s tenure in charge as England’s official white-ball captain got off to the perfect start after his team hammered West Indies at Edgbaston by a record 238 runs.
He even broke a world record himself, the most outfield catches in a one-day international by a captain, Brook’s five – three easy, two of them sharp – coming in a game where all but one of the 18 wickets to fall was caught.
