Mark Butcher: Shoaib Bashir finds groove under Ben Stokes’ canny leadership

All of Shoaib Bashir’s best attributes were on show over the course of England’s innings victory over Zimbabwe at Trent Bridge, and there were a few examples of his weaknesses too.
In his first four overs he was bowling at least one full toss an over, sending down unintentional yorkers and dragging the odd ball down. He had no control of length whatsoever.
You can see the difference in his action when the ball comes out with loop and drop and when it doesn’t.
