DAVID Warner doesn’t do understated and Steve Smith can’t any more.
Six months after returning from South Africa as broken men, the disgraced duo made eye-catching returns to competitive action in Australia with big runs in Sydney grade cricket.
Warner brought up a customarily brutish century for Randwick-Petersham, roared in celebration, kissed his club’s badge and duly went viral.
