England recall Ollie Robinson as Emilio Gay, Sonny Baker and James Rew earn first call-ups

Ollie Robinson has been selected in England’s first Test squad of the summer, back after a two-year international hiatus, while three uncapped players – Emilio Gay, James Rew and Sonny Baker – have also been given the nod.

Sussex captain Robinson was dropped two years ago but returns now, almost certainly to lead the attack after Chris Woakes’ international retirement.
Robinson has a superb Test record, his 76 wickets from 20 games coming at under 23.
But he fell out of favour and was dropped following the tour of India more than two years ago.
