PAKISTAN’S SPINNERS helped them to a victory over the West Indies in the first T20I at Lauderhill, continuing the Windies’ misery after their 5-0series loss to Australia.
The tourists posted 178-6, Saim Ayub making 57 as Shamar Joseph took 3-30. The West Indies chase never got going as they closed their 20 overs 14 runs short on 164-7.
Left-arm spinner Mohammad Nawaz took 3-23 while left-arm wrist spinner Sufiyan Muqeem returned 1-20 from his four overs.
There was also a two-for for Ayub.
