Moores: Proteas link is just conjecture

PETER Moores has labelled rumours linking him with the job as South Africa’s head coach as “pure speculation”.
Moores, who will be out of contract at Nottinghamshire at the end of the season, has been tipped as a potential replacement for Ottis Gibson after he was sacked by South Africa.
But Moores said: “With South Africa, it’s paper speculation. You can’t help that as a coach. Post-World Cup there’s movement because it’s the end of an international cycle. There’s nothing in it from my end.
