Mark Butcher: Durham’s Ben McKinney has a head for heights

Durham opener Ben McKinney followed up an impressive winter tour of Australia with England Lions by making a century in his second County Championship outing of the season, scoring 153 in his side’s one-wicket defeat to Warwickshire.

Scott Borthwick, the former Durham skipper who is now a player-coach at Chester-le-Street, believes the 20-year-old former England under-19 captain could break into the Test team this summer, and McKinney certainly catches the eye.
