Lategan learning fast to help Pears prosper

WORCESTERSHIRE BATTER Dan Lategan has hit the ground running. The 19-year-old made his county debut last August in the Metro Bank Cup, and his first-class debut swiftly followed in September against Nottinghamshire. Lategan’s consistency with the bat – he’s been the top run-scorer for the Pears in both their County Championship matches this season – has been a feature of his fledgling career.
