It’s all about the ball

THE FOCUS in the most recent round of Championship cricket was again on the Kookaburra ball with, it’s fair to say, more people unhappy than happy with its use. Rob Key defends it on the back page of this issue while Richard Clarke come off the long run in decrying it on page 22. There have now been 59 centuries scored in the last two rounds of Championship cricket.
