The Savannah Bananas are a baseball team like no other. Owner Jesse Cole has turned around this most minor of Minor League outfits by unashamedly and unwaveringly putting the fans first. This is sport as pure entertainment, where a cheap all-inclusive beer-and-hot dog ticket will allow you to watch breakdancing pitchers, kiltwearing batters who swing at the ball while doing the splits and a set of cheerleading pensioners called the Savannah Nannas. Amidst all the fun, a game might break out too.
