English players star in Women’s Premier League and Women’s Big Bash

Several English players have been in action at the recently concluded Women’s Premier League (WPL) in India with star all-rounder Nat Sciver-Brunt having a huge impact for Mumbai Indians.
Sciver-Brunt became the first player to pass 400 runs in a WPL season, including unbeaten half-centuries, 75 not out and 80 not out, against Delhi Capitals and UP Warriorz respectively, as well as a spectacular 77 from 41 balls against Gujarat Giants to see Mumbai Indians through to the final.
