KNOWLE & DORRIDGE are on top in Birmingham after a defeat for champions Smethwick saw them slip into third place. Knowle & Dorridge beat Halesowen by three wickets, Henry Brookes bagging five wickets for K&D as Raynard van Tonder made 131 for Halesowen. 74 from George Maddy (son of ex-England player Darren) and 45 from Hamza Shaikh were enough to see K&D chase down a target of 250 in the 54th over.
