IT’S NEVER a nice time to be utterly humiliated, but an embarrassed Australia at least mostly escaped the wrath of their countrymen after being thrashed 4-1 by Bangladesh in a T20 series in Dhaka.
Australia might well be grateful their first ever series defeat in any format to Bangladesh was not broadcast back home -– the first total television blackout for the team in 27 years.
Anyway, even the most diehard fanatics would have tuned in amid the country basking in an Olympic revival.
