Can Durham give Ben Stokes his fairytale finish in the One-Day Cup?

Ben Stokes has rediscovered his love for cricket since returning to Durham, with the former England captain now aiming to lead his boyhood county into the One-Day Cup final.

When Ben Stokes resigned as England Test captain, it seemed fanciful that the man who last played 50-over cricket in 2023 and hadn’t played a full One-Day Cup campaign for Durham since 2014 would be turning out in this year’s competition.
