Mark Butcher: Can a revamp reignite the T20 Blast?

As The Hundred draws to a close, attention returns to the Men’s T20 Blast next week, with the first of the four quarter-finals taking place on Wednesday evening at The Oval when Surrey host Northants.
Hampshire then visit Durham on Friday evening, before Lancashire take on Kent and Somerset face Birmingham Bears in a Saturday double-header.

It seems an age since the group stage finished – in several cases the line-ups will look quite different – and that is one of the many challenges the Blast faces as the undercard to The Hundred.
