KATIE George smashed 56 from just 35 balls as Central Sparks completed a dramatic 19-over chase to overcome Northern Diamonds by five wickets via Duckworth/ Lewis at Headlingley.
Former England all-rounder George put on 72 from just 50 balls for the fourth wicket with Ami Campbell as knock off their revised DLS target of 164 with two balls to spare after the hosts had posted 2234 off 34 overs.
Victory ensured Sparks pulled further away from the chasing pack in second.
