In the Birmingham & District Premier League, Halesowen’s Joe Porter and Luke Tulacz both hit hundreds, after coming together at 4-2. Edward Bragg then took 5-69 to complete a 102-run victory over Kenilworth Wardens.
Elsewhere in the league Ryan Tongue, older brother of England and Nottinghamshire fast bowler Josh Tongue, hit 103 for Barnard’s Green in a draw against Dorridge despite a five-wicket haul from ex-Worcestershire all-rounder George Rhodes.
