Mark Butcher: The Hundred in holding pattern as identity questions loom

The fifth edition of The Hundred is underway and this feels very much like a holding year.
Several of the new franchise owners are in town, keeping an eye on their investments and showing their faces at the stadiums.
Given the money they’re pumping into The Hundred, we can expect they’ll want to tweak a few things. They not going to sit back and simply let the tournament continue on its current path.

There will be changes and that will have consequences for the other cricket in the English summer.
