Hundred sales near completion but two deals still to be finalised

AFTER SIX agreements with Hundred teams were announced as having been signed off in the middle of last week, the ECB said that deals for the two remaining franchises remain on track.
Those deals are for the purchase of stakes in Oval Invincibles and Trent Rockets, and are due to be finalised by the start of October.
Meanwhile, first-class counties have started to receive money from the team sales. All 18 counties are initially due more than £400,000, while Lancashire, Yorkshire and Glamorgan will also begin to see proceeds from sales of stakes in the teams they host.
