County Championship: Surrey’s Matt Fisher back home looking for away win at Yorkshire

Surrey, currently top of Division One and chasing their fourth consecutive Championship, resume their campaign on Tuesday against struggling Yorkshire at Scarborough.
The clash sees the return to the county of his birth and, indeed, the place where he began his professional career, of Surrey fast bowler Matt Fisher.
Fisher, capped once by England against the West Indies in March 2022, can be satisfied with his first season so far at The Oval – in seven Championship matches, he’s taken 18 wickets at 37.55. His best figures came against Worcestershire where he took 3-34 in the first innings...
