The very best spinners won’t just test you off the pitch, they’ll beat you in the flight, and when it comes to flights, Adam Zampa can outdo everybody.
The Australia leg-spinner completed the round trip to London from his homeland for the sole purpose of playing in last week’s Hundred final, stepping in for the Asia Cup-bound Rashid Khan, an average of just over 1,000 air miles flown per ball bowled.
As it turned out, he went pretty well, conceding 21 from his four sets and having Trent Rockets captain David Willey stumped to put Oval Invincibles on course for their third title in a row. B...
