Zaman Akhter making it the hard way at Gloucestershire

Zaman Akhter, a key part of the Gloucestershire side that found itself mid-table after four games despite some encouraging performances, spent much of the winter rubbing shoulders with cricketing royalty – yet two winters ago, the 26-year-old Gloucestershire fast bowler was ready to give up his dream of becoming a professional cricketer.
