Yorkshire, Kent, Sussex win in Women’s T20 Blast

THE FIRST round of the ECB’s new T20 knockout competition took place last Monday, involving 37 counties from across all three tiers of the new women’s domestic structure.
There were 13 first round matches between counties Tiers 2 and 3 counties (three sides were given byes), with the professional Tier 1 teams set to join the competition in the third round, similar to the FA Cup.
