Yorkshire in honour to Rashid

OVER ten years after making his White Rose debut, spinner Adil Rashid has been awarded a benefit year by Yorkshire.
The 29-year-old rose through the Headingley academy ranks and made his professional first-class debut against Warwickshire at Scarborough in 2006.
He has taken 490 wickets in 166 first-class games for the county at an average of 35.07 and scored 6,577 runs at 33.21.
Rashid has also made ten Test appearances for England as well as being a regular in the ODI squad.
