Worcestershire made up for their Championship misfortunes with a One-Day Cup triumph, overcoming Hampshire in a fabulous final at Trent Bridge, getting home via DLS with three wickets in hand and two balls remaining.
It was a strong campaign from the Pears, the men from New Road losing only once en route to lifting the trophy, finishing top of the Group A table, ahead of runners-up Hampshire, and defeating Somerset, again aided by DLS, in their semi-final.
