SRI LANKA V WEST INDIES
West Indies recorded a five-wicket win over Sri Lanka at Bristol, chasing down a target of 99 with 23 balls remaining. Hayley Matthews led the way with 3-15 as Windies bowled out Sri Lanka for 98, 30 from Nilakshika Silva the only real resistance to a disciplined bowling performance. Matthews was run out for 17 in the fifth over by Silva and Deandra Dottin went an over later for 12, but Sri Lanka’s total ultimately proved too small to defend. Stafanie Taylor got the Windies over the line with a measured unbeaten 27 from 25 balls.
