New Zealand Kane Williamson announced his international cricket retirement with immediate effect on Friday.

Williamson, 35, played at Lord’s, scoring 0 and 18, but announced that will be his last game for New Zealand for whom he has scored more runs than anyone else – 9,346, with 48 centuries and six doubles, in 378 matches after his debut in 2010.
In 110 Test matches, he amassed 9,515 runs at 54.06, with 33 centuries and captained his country 206 times over eight years, including to the inaugural World Test Championship in 2021 as well as to the final of the 2019 World Cup and the 2021 T20 W...
