HOW MANY first-class or List A games were played last weekend? Quite simply, none.
By a quirk of the calendar, the competitive cricketing landscape for the weekend was left totally to the 32 ECB Premier League’s to deliver high quality cricket up and down the country, which in the best part they did as always, except for in those areas where the rain intervened (again).
