USA produced one of the biggest upsets in World Cup history by defeating sloppy Pakistan in a humdinger of a contest at the Grand Prairie Stadium in Dallas.
After both sides made 159, a chaotic, nip-and-tuck game was decided by a Super Over, the hosts taking 18 from Mohammad Amir’s wayward over before Saurabh Netravalkar restricted Pakistan to 13, USA earning their second win in as many matches after their impressive showing against Canada in the tournament opener.
