Unlucky number seven for Hampshire club side

IN DIVISION 5G of the Hampshire League, Emsworth 2XI were bowled out by Rowner 1XI for just 7 in 6.2 overs. Quinten Van Eeden took 5-2 and Dan Winzar 3-4 as Emsworth - playing with just nine men - were blown away.Jim Chapman top scored with 4, while there were three extras. Every other Emsworth batter made zero runs.
Rowner chased down the target in 1.2 overs. Matthew Darby played out the opening over from Mozart Kydd who conceded just one run from a wide, before Sandip Somvar hit two boundaries off Samuel Van Eeden to complete the victory.
