Tons galore in National Club Championship

THE FIRST ROUND of the ECB National Club Championship got underway with 23 batters hitting tons in regional group matches up and down the country.
In Group 1, Barnard Castle beat Clifton Alliance by three wickets. Clinton were bowled out for 90, Suminda Lakshan taking 5-18, before Barnard Castle got through a tricky run chase to progress to the next round.
Driffield Town beat Hetton Lyons by eight wickets thanks to a five-for from George Drury and 105 not out from Jack Redshaw, and New Farnley...
