BANGLADESH’S STUNNING nine-wicket win against Australia in the first Test has been regarded by many as the biggest upset in Test history.
The tourists were playing in alien conditions after an absence of 23 years, against an Australian team packed with all-time greats, following a disastrous warm-up fixture where they were bowled out for 54. Given those factors, it’s difficult to argue against the assertion that this was cricket’s biggest shock, certainly in living memory.
