AFTER Gloucestershire’s heroics a week ago, I can’t hide my pleasure at seeing a smaller county triumph on domestic cricket’s biggest stage.
Coupled with Leicestershire winning the One-Day Cup last year, Gloucestershire’s victory in the Blast is a riposte to those who question the relevance of some of our less glamorous clubs.
No better way to justify your existence than by beating everyone else.
