All-rounder Jordan Thompson moved to Warwickshire over the winter, after spending eight years as a professional at Yorkshire following his time in the academy there.
His first career game against his boyhood side couldn’t have gone much better.
Bears completed a 377-run victory last Monday, with Thompson taking five wickets in the match – his most this season, having played every game.
It left Warwickshire second in Division One going some way to vindicating his decision to up sticks.
