‘Stress fracture’ – two words that all fast bowlers dread. But words which are now more common than ever in the lexicon of modern cricket.
Last week, Derbyshire announced that Harry Moore was set to miss another domestic season as the result of the injury he picked up in March 2025, in a friendly between the county and SACA.
“The injury is a re-occurrence of the one which kept Moore out for the entire 2025 season,” the club said in a statement.
“He will work closely with the club’s medical team throughout the recovery process, with the aim of being available in 2027.”
