There’s a north-south divide in T20 cricket, not just in terms of the regularity that teams are meeting, but also in the brand of cricket being played.
That’s the view of Ryan Campbell, who saw his Durham side lose to Hampshire at the Riverside in the quarter-final last week.
The last four winners of the competition have come from the southern group, and although yesterday’s final at Edgbaston featured a half-and-half split in the last four, the south have definitely enjoyed the whip hand over the north for the best part of a decade.
