Teddies edge thriller as schools cup races gather pace

WITH RAIN wreaking havoc on schools’ fixtures over the last week, once again, very few games took place over the weekend in large swathes of the country. Cup competitions were equally affected, with many hasty rearrangements made to fit games in by published play-by-dates.
The closest finish of the week came in the National Schools Boys Under 18 T20 South semi-final, where Marlborough’s 143-9 was matched exactly by St Edward’s Oxford, who closed on 143-4 to go through on fewer wicke...
