Surrey looking to returning Elgar to finish the job

Welcome back! Dean Elgar is returning to Championship leaders Surrey for the final five matches of the red-ball season

DEAN Elgar can be the man to spearhead Surrey to the County Championship title – they just have to make sure they are still top when he arrives, according to director of cricket Alec Stewart.
The South African opener will return to the Oval for the final five games of the Championship, having already impressed at the start of the season with 402 runs in all competitions when he replaced injured Australian Mitchell Marsh.
