ROUND three of the Championship sees just four games taking place but that has not stopped the rumblings and grumblings over the subs rule.
At Bristol, a bemused Lancashire were denied the right to bring in Tom Bailey when Ajeet Singh Dale pulled up early on with an injured hamstring, and the likelihood now is that the sub rule, being trialled this season, will undergo amendments when the initial block of Championship games finishes in May.
