LEGENDARY New Zealand all-rounder Chris Cairns has reportedly been left paralysed in his legs after suffering a stroke in his spine following emergency heart surgery in Sydney.
The 51-year-old has returned to his home city Canberra but remains in a serious condition.
A statement from his lawyer Aaron Lloyd read: “During the life-saving emergency heart surgery Chris underwent in Sydney he suffered a stroke in his spine. This has resulted in paralysis in his legs.
