Stiaan’s time at Sussex is over

SUSSEX have allowed Stiaan van Zyl to leave before the end of the season so he can return to South Africa to prepare for their domestic season.
Van Zyl was unlikely to feature in this week’s T20 quarter-final against Yorkshire – or any of the club’s final three County Championship matches – as the county look to continue to give their younger players a chance to impress.
