Class act: Brett D’Oliveira starred for Ombersley

SEVERAL clubs in the Birmingham & District Premier League this weekend benefited from the availability of county cricketers in the latest round of fixtures with a number putting in notable performances.
Worcestershire skipper Brett D’Oliveria put in a fine all-round display for Ombersley as they defeated Kenilworth Wardens by six wickets. He took 4-65 with his leg-spin as Kenilworth reached 274-9 in their 55 overs before stroking an unbeaten 94 from 72 balls to see his side home.
